Ability to recover deleted notes

Very occasionally, a file may get deleted by mistake. I made this mistake today, but recognized it immediately. However, it was gone and I could not do anything to stop the deletion, or recover the note later.

    Hello,

Deleted clinical notes can be restored through either the Activity Log on he patient chart, or the Audit Logs.

Chart logs can be accessed from EMR > Virtual Chart. Click on the first icon under the patient bar. When the Log Viewer loads, find the "Deleted Letter" activity; right-click and choose "Restore" from the menu option to recover the file. The Audit Logs are the same, accessible by an Administrator in the Manage Security section of the program.

If you do not have the option to view the Activity Log, this is a role/user-based permission that can be managed by an Administrator in the Feature Access section of Manage Security.
