In the form editor I am able to combine component elements within the edit box or by dragging and dropping one component onto another. However, there is no way to separate them once they have been combined. If I combine 2 components by accident, I need to edit the group, delete one of the components, and then recreate it separately. It would be helpful to have an option in the edit screen to separate highlighted components from the group. This would add extra utility to the custom components. That way I could create a custom component with multiple fields such as patient first/last name, address, HCN, etc, and then drop it into a new form and separate the components, and then slide around the components where they needed to go.
You can separate components that you no longer want to be part of the group by holding the ALT key on your keyboard and then clicking, dragging and dropping the component you want to remove to another location on the form.
