Can you please add a description beside the diagnostic code when in EMR under encounter notes so that way the doctor knows what the code stands for with out open all the encounter note to find out the diagnosis.
I think you might be referring to the Diagnostic Code that is visible on the Appointment History in the Encounter Notes tab (along the left of the screen)?
If this is correct, when you hover the mouse over the appointment a tooltip displays with an entire description of the diagnostic code.
If this is incorrect, can you please clarify and maybe even include a screen shot of the space you are talking about? If including a screen shot please do not include and really patient data.
