Add the ability to initially default the checkbox's value (blank,N,X,Y) based on whether a query alert is triggered. For instance, if the form asks "Is the patient diabetic?", set the checkbox value to X (or Y) if the query Diagnosis Diagnosis Code Contains '250' OR Contains 'T90' is true..
Tha advantage of using alerts is that all exposed values in the database can be queried and nested logic is possible.
