Currently, users only get notified when they receive a new task, however if the task develops and gets reassigned back to the user or different users, there is no notification generated in their task inbox. The reassigned task appears at the top of the list but is not bolded/does not indicate it as not being read yet. The lack of notification generation can cause important tasks to be missed.
Accuro does rebold them when they come back, at least it does in the Manitoba version of Accuro. What province are you in?

Reassigning Tasks
When Tasks are reassigned, they now appear as bold for the recipient. Prior to this update the task was not displayed as bold in the Tasks folder (Home > Tasks).
