Add "END TIME" to options to add onto clinical notes on template

MSP requires certain disciplines (psychiatry for example) to enter start time and end time on clinical notes for each appointment. Doing this manually is a tedious process. Please make adding "end time" an option in the template wizard for all notes.

Glad to hear this will help! We'll leave the Idea here to continue gathering feedback in hopes to add something automatic.

Anything in the Note will show up on the letter. But, part of the reason you take that extra step to generate the letter is so that the original Note could technically be different than the Generated Letter.

My recommendation if you do not want the time stamps in the letter, but you do want them in the note is to remove them once you generate the letter and do not Apply the changes. Steps:

    1. Open a note beginning and ending with the F12 Timestamp to insert start and end time

    2. Save the note and generate the letter

    3. Make any necessary changes on the letter, and press Apply (this saves the needed changes back to the original note)

    4. Now, REMOVE the timestamps from the beginning and ending of the letter (do not press apply)

    5. Print or Send the letter

This way, the note retains the start and end time, but the generated letter that is sent and saved to the chart will not have that text.

Sounds like ideally if this were to be built into Accuro the start and end time would live in their own fields. Not in the body of the Note so that you don't need this extra step when generating the letter.

Thanks Lauren for this suggestion. I did not know that we could do this, so
this is very useful. I'm still hoping that there can be something added
that I can put in a template to add the scheduled end time of an
appointment on the notes. The system knows the scheduled end time so it
would be so useful to have this.

Since I am not the provider I'm not the person making the notes, I am the
one that sorts out the billing and so this addition would be so useful for
    me.

Also, is there a way for the date stamp with the F12 function to not show
    up on the letter generation?

Thank you for your continued help on this.

I'm not sure exactly how you are doing this manually, but a quick way would be to tap F12 when you start the note to add a timestamp. Then again when you end the note.

F12 is the keyboard shortcut that adds your username, date and current time.

If you aren't already doing this, it might speed up the process while there are no current tags to support the start and end time adding automatically.
