We are a midwifery practice and solely provide care to pregnant & newly postpartum patients/clients as well as their babies. Right now, the only way to have the gestational age display in the status bar, is by employing an added step in a retired "Antenatal" module. Since much of our decisions depend on a gestational age, we need to be able to see at a quick glance in the patient's chart how many weeks pregnant they are. There currently is no automatic or easy way for that information to display. We would prefer to have the gestational age automatically calculate based on a final due date that the user inputs in a perinatal record form which has been generated using the Form Editor. So, once the user starts this perinatal record, and once a final due date has been entered in a box in this specific form, that the gestational age is automatically calculated from that specific box and displayed in the status bar.
