Add Patient Status and Family doctor to the batch billing left hand window

We often see patients from other clinics on weekend rounds. I love the batch billing function because I can quickly add a patient not already in my EMR, but I end up having to go into the Patients section to modify the status to Inactive as these are not going to be regular clinic patients going forward. (We are trying to actively manage our patient panels.) It would be better if Patient Status and Family Dr were on the left hand side of batch billing to make this function more useful.
