In our clinical practice, we receive many referrals, which are reviewed by a team of nurses as well as our doctors. In accordance with medicolegal standards, both the doctor and nurse must sign on the referral reply letter when co-authoring it or if the nurse responds on the doc's behalf. Currently we cannot attach the signatures from two different providers to a letter within the Accuro generated letter (provider signatures are attached as letter footer), and I would like to see this changed. If we could add a second footer drop down in the generated letter screen in order to accommodate attaching either the nurse's signature, doctor's signature, or both together, it would be very helpful.
