I am part of a very large organization with over 50 MDs and our Unassigned folders have hundreds of results coming in every week. This is a patient safety risk as well as a privacy risk, as the only way for providers to find their patient results is to go through each and every result one by one in order to identify those that belong to them. If they do not do this, important results are put in the patient's chart but they are not being seen or reviewed. This is compounded by the fact that tests ordered by locums end up in the Unassigned folders once their accounts become inactive. It would be hugely time-saving to be able to sort the results by MRP or Office Provider and then it would take seconds to find the correct results and ensure they get reviewed in a timely fashion.
100% agree! This would be very helpful
