Edit Document Date Directly from the Document Inbox

Users can update some document information directly from the Document Inbox, but correcting the document date requires additional steps through the Virtual Chart.

The Document Inbox is often where an incorrect date is first noticed. Requiring users to leave the inbox, locate the document again in the chart, and edit it from another screen adds unnecessary steps to a simple correction.

Please allow authorized users to edit the document date directly from the Document Inbox alongside other editable details such as document type and assigned provider.

This would improve document accuracy and allow users to correct metadata at the point where the issue is identified.
