Please add a role-based permission that allows designated users to view the outstanding task queues of other users within their clinic.
This should function similarly to the Document Inbox, where users with the appropriate permissions can select a provider and view documents waiting for review. Task visibility should be controlled by organizational permissions, not granted individually by the user whose tasks are being viewed.
Not every role would require this access. For example, some reception roles may only have scheduling permissions, while other administrative or records-based roles may require broader visibility. Organizations should be able to decide which roles can view clinic task queues and whether they can only view tasks or also update, complete, or reassign them.
This is important for routine team coverage. When a staff member or provider is away, another team member needs to identify urgent and time-sensitive work without permanently reassigning the entire task queue. Providers also frequently cover colleagues, but tasks sent to the absent provider may not be visible to the covering provider.
The current bulk-reassignment option is useful when someone permanently leaves a position, but it is not appropriate for sick days, vacations, or temporary workload support.
Role-based access would improve continuity, allow clinics to respond safely to unexpected absences, and provide the same practical coverage visibility for Tasks that already exists for provider Document Inboxes.
