Saving and attaching documents to email through Citrix Explorer

I currently use explorer in Citrix to log into my email account. This allows me to save an email to my S drive as either a scan or fax and easily save it to the patients file. I can do the same to send medical reports, instructions etc to a patient by email. This is much better than saving to my desktop. The downfall is that explorer runs very slow. It would be helpful to be able to speed this up. Google Chrome would be a much better option than Explorer. Can this be changed to speed things up?
