Online New Patient Registration

We suggest that Medeo creates an online registration tool for new patients, where patients can create a file for themselves including information such as their name, DOB, PHN, phone number, email, and address. This will then create a list of patients in our Accuro EMR who need to be called and booked for an appointment.

This kind of feature would benefit both patients and providers. It would benefit patients who have busy day schedules and cannot always make a phone call. With this feautre, they would be able to complete a first step independently and register themselves in our system. Moreover, for us, it would maximixe efficiency by saving time over the phone documenting such patient details.

This feature could also potentially solve the issues we have faced with the current online booking tool, where patients may book with the wrong provider or book the wrong appointment type and need to be called and have their appointment adjusted.
