I think the idea of the online booking is a great one and would work for us but I’m concerned about the presentation of the form template that we would need to use. The language in the template such as ‘patient name’ and request for ‘personal health number’ are not a good fit for us. I realize Accuro is a medical EMR and it actually works really well for us internally – I don’t care so much about the discordant language; however, how we present ourselves to the ---------------- community is different. I don’t want to represent us as medical model and the online booking – especially if it’s a ------- first contact with us – defeats that intent.
If the online forms template could be changed or tailored to fit our need I would definitely have another look at the online booking feature.
