It gives Providers the ability to send patients certain prescriptions faster, without having to physically go to the clinic. It is at the Providers discretion to determine if a virtual visit through Medeo is sufficient enough to prescribe certain medications depending on the situation. So if a Provider does indeed wish to prescribe something to the patient after the visit, they should be able to have the ability to directly send said patient the prescription, instead of making the patient pick it up from the clinic. This could be particularly useful for elderly or rural patients to help reduce their overall travel just to get their prescription.
Medeo already allows for attaching items from the patients chart within Accuro. It can even attach prescriptions currently, but the prescription signature does not populate when you add the prescription as an attachment to a Medeo message, even if the signature does show properly within Accuro. If this could be changed to include the signature, it could be of great use to Providers.
I vote yes for attaching a Rx in medeo. ( with signature)
