Hi Melanie,
That specific functionality is not available, though we certainly recognize the value in it. Presently the workaround would be to print the patient's chart to PDF and reupload it to the chart as a separate document that could then be attached.
I have created a submission for it, here: https://ideas.qhrtech.com/ideas/ACC-I-7748
I encourage you to vote and leave your feedback there.
Thank you!
Alison - how about the ability to send a "Print Summary" Generated from the virtual chart via healthmail? Or a gnerated chart (virtual chart - right click - print entire chart).
We will not be implementing an external e-mail integration into Accuro, as transmitting health records via e-mail poses a risk to the privacy and security of a patient's personal health information (PHI).
For more information on privacy laws in your province, please see: https://www.priv.gc.ca/en/about-the-opc/what-we-do/provincial-and-territorial-collaboration/provincial-and-territorial-privacy-laws-and-oversight/
With Accuro's Healthmail feature, however, there are the options of:
- Secure Patient Messaging, which would allow you to both securely message and send chart information to a patient: https://accuroemr.com/clinic-tools/secure-patient-messaging/
- ePrescribing, allowing the transmission of prescriptions electronically/direct communication with pharmacists: https://accuroemr.com/emr-software/prescriptions/
We are also looking for sites that may be interested in piloting our Provider-to-Provider messaging service, which is currently being developed.
If that is something that your clinic would be interested in participating in, please reach out to pdpmo@qhrtech.com for more information.
OMG YESSSSSSSSSS!!! It would make life A LOT easier!!!
