Use a billing macro on multiple patients at once

Should be able to select a number of patients either on the daysheet or claims sheet and apply the same billing macro to all of them.

    Hi Abbie,

The comments within this submission are expanding on the original feature request, which was being able to apply billing macros to multiple patients on the Day Sheet, and within the Claims section. The work for the Day Sheet is complete and available; more changes related to Billing Macros are planned. The submission remains in the 'Planned' status, and will be updated when more features become available. Thank you for clarifying.

Hi Alison Cooney, this is not for patients who are in the day sheet. The day sheet is for patients who have appointments. This is for pts the drs see at the hospital, and who therefore are not on the day sheet. Thanks. Abbie

As of build 2017.01.873, it is possible to apply macros to multiple patients at once from the Day Sheet: EMR > Day Sheet > CTRL+Select desired patients > Right-click > Set Macro. This will give you the option to either append or replace the existing claim.

More billing macro related improvements are planned for the future.

I would love a grid/spreadsheet format where the user types all the health numbers/carecard #s and applies the macro to all of them. Use Case: a dr on-call sees 10 patients, each of which has same 3 procedure codes, modifiers, location. Since there are no "appointments", the patients are not in the schedule, so not automatically in the claims section for that day. Therefore the user can use this multiple-patient-same-billing-macros tool to quickly bill these 10 patients.

We used to use something called List billing in X-wave to do things like INR monthly billings, so this would be helpful.

This would be incredibly helpful for Rheum Doc's as we bill multiple patients for certain work monthly, and my lists are done manually one by one through the query builder to find them. Very time consuming.
