Account Administrators should be able to delete items from the patients chart

As it is now, to delete items in a patients chart you must: Users > Manage Security > System Settings > Check the "Allow Users to Delete Reviewed Chart Items" > Save Setting > Delete the Chart Item > And go back and uncheck that box, as this is a System Setting and not a per user setting. Clients would like to allow the Account Administrator to have the access to delete these items without having to go into System Settings.

    There is a Feature Access that can be either enabled or disabled for individual Users or Roles to allow or prevent them from deleting chart items.

    As a System Admin, keep the System Setting on to "Allow Users to Delete Reviewed Chart Items". Then, go into Manage Security > Feature Access and choose specific Roles/Users to disable the feature(s) for:

    • Delete Clinical Notes

    • Delete Forms

    • Delete Documents

    • Delete Labs

    • Delete Faxes
