Display patient weight when ordering medications

Particularly for pediatrics, it would be helpful to see the patient weight on the prescription pop-up when calculating dosage.

    Admin response

A User Preference has been added that allows the Height and Weight from the Labs section to pull into a prescription for Pedatric patients.

In the Accuro Start Menu > File > User Preferences go to the Display Tab > EMR Workflow

The last setting in the first column is for "Show Height and Weight on Pediatric Prescriptions" when selected the Height and Weight will appear on prescriptions for any patient under 18 years of age

There is still not a way to see the weight during writing the precscription (very important for pediatrics) and it only populates on the final prescription

Is there a way to view weight in the prescription writing window?

Yes, we need this. Saves at least 5 seconds per patient. Doesn't sound like much until you multiple that 5+ seconds for every patient you must flip between screens for....
