Flag our patients in search results for systems with multiple offices

For systems with multiple offices (and thus tens of thousands of patients in the system), there can end up being 50 John Smith's (or Mary MacDonald, etc etc etc). Thus it ends up being very difficult to remember which John Smith is the one that attends your office. This means it can be I know you can choose in Manage Security - Office - Preferences to have Office Provider filtered patient searches, but this really isn't feasible for offices on the system such as allied health clinics (Lung Health Clinic, Diabetes Clinic) or Walk-In Clinics, of which we have many on our system. Because none of their providers are the "Office Provider", they cannot choose to filter by patient searches by office provider, as it won't help. Could we add a way to be able to distinguish which John Smith is the appropriate one? What I'm thinking of is, once a patient has had an appointment booked in your office, any subsequent searches under this office would put a symbol before that patients name. That symbol would essentially represent "This is the John Smith who has previously attended your clinic". The symbol would only appear if an appointment had been previously booked under that office (ie. if you searched under another office that the patient hadn't attended, the symbol wouldn't appear). Sorry if that explanation doesn't make sense. Essentially I'm looking for any method that would help distinguish the John Smith who has attended my office from all the other John Smith's in the system. It doesn't have to be the exact idea above, anything to help would be an improvement.
