Add BMI Percentile to Lab Results

It would be useful to have the BMI Percentile calculation pull into Physical History (Optimed Child) lab results so that this percentile will be available to be queried and added to letters.

You can add the BMI Percentile to any Lab Test including the "Physical History (Child)".

    1. In the Accuro Menu search "Lab Tests"

    2. Select 'Configure Lab Tests' from the results

    3. Select the "Physical History (Child)" test or any other test you wish to add BMI Percentile to

    4. Click the Pencil to edit the test

    5. Select the add button to add a new result to this test

    6. In the search window that displays type in "BMI" and press Enter

    7. Select the result that displays for "BMI Percentile" with the source of "Optimed"

    8. Click 'OK' to select the result

    9. If desired, you can click onto the new lab result in the list and use the blue arrow buttons to move it up in the list

    10. Then press 'OK' again to save the test

    11. Now, any patient under 18 that has their Height and Weight recorded in the Physical History (Child) lab test will have the BMI and BMI Percentile calculated for them.
