Improved Options for Chart Archiving

At the moment, in Tools > Archive Patient, there are only options for archiving items "older than" x amount of time, or that were added "before" a specific date. There is no option to archive items added on a specific date, or to archive individual chart items from EMR > Virtual Chart (VC). Additionally, items are archived NOT based on inputted dates (as you see them in the VC), but rather by the date that they were brought into the program, which causes inconsistencies and confusion. For example, if a clinic added a paper chart to a patient's file in 2012, that is dated 2007, then when they go to archive chart items older the 2010, the paper chart will not archive. It will show in the VC as being from 2007, but the Archive Patient Chart tool will bring back the error: "There were no matching records found to archive." Along this vein, perhaps there could be a date selection option within the Archive Patient Chart tool which allows you to specify which date (date, created, added to program, etc) you wish it to archive via.
