Editing Documents very slow

I see a post wondering why this is so slow. I understand that a part of it has to do with internet speed. However, when you have a 30 page document where you are taking it apart page by page or even 2-3 pages at a time, it can be very frustrating. Mostly because when you remove one page from the document and hit run, the window disappears, like it's assuming that is all you want to do. So you then have to reload the entire document again, take one page out and repeat 30 times. Can they just leave the document open and allow you to take it apart without having to reload the document each time? Even if you have fast internet this really slows down the process.
