03.03A code automatic age correction for NS

in NS the code for followup is 03.03 ( I use RO=CNTC as my most frequently used modifier for a specialist). When the patient is 65 years or older they are eligible for billing 03.03A code which indicated that the patient is over 65 years without having to specify any other modifiers. This code only applies for office or outpatient visits and pays about $ 6 more than the 03.03 code. My old billing system (MOM) made that correction automatically based on the patient's age. Having the system correct the code automatically will prevent billing errors and will ensure that we are not under billing for that code. As careful as you are in billing this is an easy error to make.
