cardiologists like to see cardiac meds separated from non cardiac meds.
The Medication search window allows users to search by classification (e.g. ACE inhibitors, anticoagulants, diuretics): Add Prescription > Medication Search > Classifications > Search > Double-click your desired result > Choose your medication > <OK>
Alternatively, for medications you prescribe frequently, you can favorite your scripts and simply adjust them (dosages, etc) per patient.
Add Prescription > Medication Search > Search for and choose drug > <OK> > Complete your prescription > Click the Star icon > Name your favorite > <OK>
This will save it in your favorites list, and you can click the star icon on the Active Medications tab in the Medical History band, or the <Favorites> button in the Medications tab in the EMR module to choose and load it.
If you would like assistance with these workflows, please call the service desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to review the steps with you.
