When we print a letter by going to File - print, the print icon does not show in the VC. There is also no record in the print/fax summary that anything was done with this letter. It would be helpful for both our physicians and our front staff if the print icon could appear whether we choose to print the letter from the VC by right clicking or whether we chose to print the letter from the editing window by using File - Print. Several times we have questioned what was done with these referral letters or patient information letters as it is several months later.
