When you print/fax an entire chart from the virtual chart, there is no record in the chart that this was done. It does not show on the individual documents that the document was printed/faxed with an icon, and it doesn't even show in the documents print/fax summary. The only place to check if it was faxed would be in the fax manager or to do an audit. This in my opinion opens the doctors up to a lot of issues if you send an entire chart this way. There is no record of your date ranges you picked to only send documents from Date A to Date B. There isn't a record in the chart for a physician to look and see that a certain request for records has been addressed. They have to search through tasks if they created one in order to find the records. There should be a note(like when you add a note to the cover sheet) or a document that shows all the pages sent(like a generated letter) to see what was sent.
