Merged idea

Our MDs would like to be able to fill out a PDF form from a patient's chart. Merged

The MDs here would like to be able to complete insurance forms, etc, without having to print them first. It would be much more convenient for them to be able to complete PDF forms in virtual chart. These are forms that are sent to us in documents which we put in patient charts, not from a form template.

What types of information do you need to add to the scanned Document? You can add text, signatures, and highlighting if you use the Document Annotation feature.

In the Virtual Chart, right click on a scanned in Document and select "Annotate". From there you can add information to the Document then fax it/print it filled in.

If you save the form, you can manipulate it to have a check box where indicated-auto populate patient demographics etc. You need to scan it - save to your computer - go to tools- form editor- load form at the top (looks like a folder) then use the components on the left hand side. Make sure to save make available instead of in progress.

Then you can fax the completed form from the chart.
