Often, when the user wishes to drag and drop 'text' from a lab result (ex. the report from a surgical pathology report) this strangely reverses the text sequence. It works for simple lab items such as A1C but not for complex items.
It would be favorable to select, copy, and paste only the text that is required. With anticipated integration of electronic imaging reports, it would be prudent to be able to select the pertinent text only: example: "Impression".
Copy and paste was possible with our 'old and ancient' prior EMR. I urge users to attempt to drag and drop pathology results or lab results with 'comments' into their note. It simply doesn't work properly, and transfers "ALL the text". We then spend significant time deleting the undesired text.
