When accessing the HealthMail inbox from within Accuro, providers often want to complete some action in the patient's chart. Because the patient chart does not automatically load (as it does elsewhere in Accuro), the provider has to search and load the chart manually.
A button located in the frame of the HealthMail messages (perhaps next to the "Close Conversation Thread" button) could, when clicked, load the subject patient's chart in Accuro. This would save valuable time.
Released in the 2017.72.1 version of Accuro:
Patient Name in Message Header now Clickable, HealthMail
The patient name in the header of a Patient Messaging, ePrescribe, or eConsult (ON) message in HealthMail is now a clickable field. Once clicked, the patient will be loaded as the global patient and take the user to the patient's EMR section. Hovering over the patient name in the HealthMail header will also display a helpful tooltip of "Load Patient."
