in around the Winnipeg area, and Im sure other areas across Canada, we have patients that have long distance phone numbers for home, cell and work numbers.
there is no box to check off for staff to know if we have to dial long distance or if its a local number.
In the address books for Pharmacies and Specialists there is a box to indicate that long distance is required.
this would save a significant amount of time when calling patients.
