Add Tracking subsection to Saved Components in Form Editor

Please create a Tracking subsection that will increase tracking flexibility for forms, example:

  • Track - defaults [Value] to 'yes' and [Hidden while viewing] to 'yes'. When [Value] set to 'yes', forces ORRO tracking regardless of which category the form is stored under (saves the need to copy duplicates to the Requisition Forms folder). I suggest that the field be unprintable/unfaxable even if [Hidden while viewing] is set to 'no'. [Hidden while viewing] set to 'no' makes it easy for the user to decide on a case by case basis whether a requisition/order should be tracked.

  • Type - directly feeds to corresponding [Type] column on ORRO report. It should have formula and query capability so that it can build itself from other form fields, etc.

  • Order - same idea as Type, but feeding to the ORRO [Order] column.

  • Description, Specific, Location, Contact - same idea.

    Understood, thanks for the clarification.

Thanks. Already implemented. The problem comes with capturing free text fields. Also, it would be nice to use the power of formulas and queries.

Hi Dr. Gebhardt, I'm not sure if this will help achieve part of what you are looking for, but have you tried using Metadata on checkboxes within your form?

You can set Lab Test Metadata to individual checkboxes on each Requisition Form. When the box is checked, the Metadata Value is automatically inserted into the Order column on the ORRO report. See attached.

If you think this might help, we can connect and I can show you how to set it up.
