This feature has been released! Users now have the option to enable the functionality to click and hold an existing appointment on the Scheduler and drag it to a new time slot within the same calendar view. To enable or disable this feature, individual users can navigate to File > User Preferences > Display section > Scheduler Workflow tab > enable or disable Drag-and-Drop for Appointment Rescheduling > Apply > OK.

Also, it would be great to be able to drag and drop appointment information (or multiple appointments information) into a letter or chart note from the scheduler or from the EMR Encounter Note appointment section.
