Ability to search patient from any screen

Presently, search only works in the EMR sections "Encounter Notes", "Chronic Conditions", "Virtual Chart" and "Medications", the Patients tab, and the Scheduler tab. To search a patient from my Home tab, I have to navigate into EMR then switch from Day Sheet to Encounter Notes then press F1 then search the patient then navigate back. Also, the search bar is in a different location for each of these sections, breaking continuity in the user interface. If there is one globally active patient that persists throughout sections (as there should be), then there should be a fixed search function that remains in the same location in all areas of Accuro. You already have a demographics tab that shows the globally active selected patient. Would it be too hard to just add a search function there that remained available to use across any tab/section of Accuro? There's a ton of empty space at the top beside the globally selected patient.

In Libre, there was just a fixed search button that remained in the same location beside the active patient's name, no matter what tab or section we were in and could be switched easily (see SearchFunction1.jpg). They also had the F1 key that would bring up a patient search function from any screen (SearchFunction2.jpg).

Can we not add a search button or bar here so that it's available on every screen and in the same location? I provided an example of where you can put a search bar that is globally accessible by pushing F1 on any screen (SearchFunction3.jpg).
