Structured Patient and Provider Booking Restrictions

Please add a structured way to prevent or warn against booking a specific patient with a specific provider.

A booking restriction may be needed because the patient has requested not to see the provider, the provider has ended the professional relationship, a conflict has been identified, or another documented scheduling restriction exists.

A global patient alert is not an ideal solution. It appears during unrelated chart activity, exposes information to users who do not need it, and contributes to alert fatigue.

The restriction should appear only when someone attempts to book the affected patient with the affected provider. Depending on permissions and configuration, it could create a warning or a hard stop.

The restriction should record the reason, who entered it, the date it was applied, and an optional review or expiry date.

This would make restrictions visible at the exact point they matter while reducing unnecessary alerts elsewhere in the chart.
