While there is no right-click menu to copy/cut/paste text from messages/tasks/patient notes, the keyboard shortcuts for those actions can be used:
CTRL+C = Copy
CTRL+X = Cut
CTRL+V = Paste
"Cut" would only work as a function within text-fields, e.g. editing a task and cutting text from the note field.

could not agree more. Even the live data that comes in from the NHS I cant cut and copy. If I am writing a note, i would love to be able to cut aned copy parts of reports or consultant opinions to my notes. I did this with cerner in the states and as long as you quote it, cite it, it should not be a problem. If there is a way to do this I would love to know.
