I find cut and paste works in more cases than copy and paste, as it can still be pasted multiple times. I was thinking it was due to a Javascript issue, but if it could be used seamlessly across all areads, that would be lovely.

Could not agree more that copy and paste should be implemented everywhere. I make very heavy use of macros. The inability to copy text from a macro (in the macro creation window) and paste it into another new macro (and then slightly modify it) is very frustrating. In addition, copy, cut, paste should always be available from the keyboard.

I find the copy/paste keyboard commands 'jam' occasionally and I have to log out/log back in to the EMR. Happens at least once a session when using the EMR. I've called twice and been told both times it's a known problem that has something to do with Microsoft's clipboard. I'm not sure what to make of that since it also happens when using OSX.
The answer was essentially 'sorry we can't do anything about it'. They suggested I vote for this suggestion, since it would be the only way to get around the issue.

Couldn't agree more with the initial idea. Having the ability to copy and paste any info from one part of Accuro to another is essential in saving time having to retype that information. Frustrating that some areas have that feature and some don't. Also some areas have the feature but don't have a shortcut icon on the page or the option listed with R-click. Really should be a universal feature with ability to use in any part of Accuro. Unclear if the use of the users clipboard and type of computer vs the network clipboard that Accuro is running on makes a difference in how this would function or how it would be applied.

Copy and paste from word to Accuro. I can copy and paste from word pad, but not from word. So work around right now is copy or save word document word pad then copy and paste. The odd thing is, before an update a few years back, you could copy and paste from outlook and word into accuro now you can't : (
