Make appointment status reportable

Nearly all components of an appointment are reportable in the query builder except the appointment status. This would be very helpful as we've made several customized status choices and would like to be able to pull the data/info.

A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2017.02 iteration of Accuro. Should QHR Technologies be required to reschedule the feature, an additional comment will be added to advise of the new schedule.

Upon release, the Idea will be marked as Completed and QHR Technologies will provide further detail on the implemented solution.

    Hi Erin,

I am not sure why it would not be showing as an option for you.

I would recommend contacting the Service Desk at 1-866-729-8889 or by email at Accuro@QHRtech.com, so that a Client Services Analyst can investigate.

    Hi Alison,
Thank VERY much for persevering and looking deeper. Your instructions and background explanation were very precise.

    Hi Paulo,

Thank you for your response. After your last comment I did some deeper digging into this feature, to see what exactly had been done.

I am unsure of the exact build version, but the change was released in August of 2017. In order for it to be available in your Query Builder as an option (which includes the output of the status in the resulting report), a module needs to be enabled in the Manage Security section of your Accuro.

Accuro Menu > Users > Manage Security > System Settings > Modules > Search: "Query Custom Appointment Statuses" > Enable result > <Save Settings>

    • Once saved, shut down and relaunch Accuro

    • Go to Accuro Menu > Reports > Query Builder

    • Under the Appointments Rule Category, when selecting the Appointment option, then <New>, Status will now be a menu option

    • When progressing to the Fields to Display, Status will now be an option

The reasoning for having to module-enable the new feature was due to some inconsistencies with reporting on statuses in the existing structure, and how a blanket change might impact existing clinic reports. If you have existing reports that include statuses in rules with "OR" statements, when this module is enabled they will become "AND" statements (though these can be corrected with the Advanced Logic function).

My apologies for not giving the full scope of information in my initial reply. I've retired the submission I created yesterday.

If you would like assistance enabling this module, please contact the Service Desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.

    Hi Alison,

I think the spirit of the original request is the same the new one you created. This is the original request:
Make appointment status reportable - Nearly all components of an appointment are reportable in the query builder except the appointment status. This would be very helpful as we've made several customized status choices and would like to be able to pull the data/info.

The only difference I see is that there is a reference to customized status, but the idea seems to be to have the status show in the report. Do we really need a new request? If the original one has been released, won’t it be easier to implement it? The admin response dated Jun 20, 2017 starts with “A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2017.02 iteration of Accuro”, which suggests this was being worked on back then.

Either way I appreciate your time and effort.

    Regards,
    Paulo

Thank you very much. I hope it is easy enough to implement that it gets a high priority.

Thank you for clarifying, Paulo; I've created a separate submission for this request: https://ideas.qhrtech.com/ideas/ACC-I-7837

    Hi Alison,
Sorry for not being more clear. I didn’t mean to query on the statuses, but rather have them as (a) display field(s) on the report. Unfortunately they are not available in the list.

    Hi Paulo,

    Those statuses can be queried.

Accuro Menu > Reports > Query Builder (Alerts)

Please see the attached screenshot for a rule example, and in which category to find the filtering option.

If you would like assistance with this workflow, please contact the service desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.

    Hi Paulo,

To clarify, are you meaning your custom Appointment Statuses? Or Arrived/Confirmed/No Show/No Charge?

Any update on this? I have the same requirement. It's been released (2017) but not completed. I'm having to run a daily sheet with all days of the month in order to get the status. Thanks
