Insert a Table that can be used in encounter notes

Similar to an excel table in looks and functionality BUT with the ability to act like a lab. For example, we receive pulmonary function studies that are currently scanned in. Each one reflects a single test, but with multiple levels of data points. However, the doctors like to be able to view those results over multiple tests at a quick glance, to judge trends in breathing ability based on past FEV1s, FVCs, diffusion, etc. Currently what I do is use an excel table to update the needed information manually, screen capture, and import the image to the encounter note document that I am preparing. It would be nice to be able to have a table that can be brought in, updated, and saved to the patient, so staff have access if they need to update, and doctors always have access to the most current graph. The spreadsheet component/function right now really cannot be used in this way.
