For those of us who are left handed, providing a signature in provider registration for prescriptions and requisitions is almost impossible using a computer mouse. I am already up to 40 unsuccessful attempts as my signature requires the "pen" to be lifted several times and the field keeps moving up or down. Why can't I write my signature on a piece of paper as usual and then scan this image into Accuro? I have been told that I cannot do this.
It is much easier to use a stylus and tablet, which your Accuro trainer should have brought to your implementation. Regardless, it is very handy to have one in the clinic, for patients to sign forms. I have had good success with a cheap one from Monoprice:

Another tip is when attempting to create your signature, double-click in the signature box to make the signature box full screen. It is easier than trying to sign in the small box. Once you capture the signature, it will reduce to an appropriate size.
