At the moment, Accuro system does not have the ability to restrict who can use the signature. for example, any one in the same office can use the signature in the system for requisitions or prescriptions once the box is ticked to allow those signatures to be used in forms. If this option to be removed (unticked), no one can use the signature including the prescriber. There is no middle ground to allow nobody or only authorized people to use the signature. Either everyone or none. This add a significant medico-legal consequences. I write with experience happened to me and somebody used my signature to request an investigations without authorization. I have to remove my signature from the system to avoid this from happening. The end result, I am doing all signatures manually and scan the forms. This is a long but safe path that I have for now. I reached to the helpline and they were supportive and kind but there was no middle grounds. I hope next versions will take this into considerations.
