I would love a "yellow post it note" that I could add to an incoming fax in my fax inbox

to add little notes such as "waiting for triage" - waiting for additional info etc.

    Admin response

Document Annotations now exist where you can type notes directly onto documents. You can also use the highlighting tool over top of the note to make it appear like a "Post-It".

From your Documents inbox, or the Documents section click the 'Annotate' button. From the Virtual Chart, right click on a document and choose 'Annotate'.

Then, select the Text tool. Click onto the document and drag to draw a "square' which is where your text will appear.

Enter the text and press OK to insert it.

Then, if you'd like to take it one step further, you can choose the square from the Highlight tools an click onto the document and drag to draw a "square" over top of your text. This highlights the text like a Post-It.

See screen shot for end result.

As long as the annotations are saved on a document in a patient's chart they should not disappear. Annotations that are not filed to a chart in the Documents section will not be saved. Please contact our client services team at 1-866-729-8889 to investigate this issue. It sounds like things are not working as intended.

I've been using this feature for a long time.... however once you sign off for the day -- if this is still in the inbox then it disappears!
