Sending immunization summary to Public Health

I saw the email about the requirement to send immunizations administerd to public health.

Until an electronic transfer of information is figured out, I have a few tweaks that could make the exisitng printout from the client's Immunization Schedule more user friendly for Accuro EMR users and more  usable to Public Health Units.

  1. Include the client's address on the report.
  2. Exclude the "Schedule" portion on the printout.
  3. Instead of generating a report that can only be printed, give it the ability to be faxed. If that can't happen in one step, then add a "Save to Chart' option so that it can be faxed from there.

    Admin response

As the new government has paused the requirement for providers to submit Immunization data to the PHUs, we will not need to make changes at this time.

We are aware of an initiative in the province to develop an interface so no manual submission work will be required.

The lot # and expiry date of the immunizing agent is being requested by Public Health as well. Could this could be added to the <NoteDates:MHXIMMUNIZATIONSUMMARY>  shortcut?
