When building lab criteria, you are able to select "last result only", which is very helpful when you want a data extract that shows only the most recent lab value within a certain time period. However, appointments and documents do not have this same feature.
For example, if I try to run a report to show me all of the patients who have had a visit in the last 5 years and what the date of their last visit was, I get a report with a new line for every visit they have had in the last 5 years, not just the last one.
Same thing with documents. If I try to run a report to show me all of the patients who have had a colonoscopy in the last 10 years and what the date of their most recent one was, I get a report with a new line for every colonoscopy they have had in the last 10 years, not just the last one.
Totally agree as well. Just want to run report of patients last visit. Should be a simple report but its sure not!
Totally Agree as you need a Last visit report for purging manual records that meet requirements for destruction and it takes forever to delete all the lines you do not want. I am good with excel and still this is way too challenging
