Lab Document Downloads - identify the DI report (Chest xray, Abd US, etc). Field is available to download.

All staff esp Docs would benefit to be able to rapidly identify DI reports in Lab Documents.  Searching takes more time and may miss if not typed in exactly to match DI title.

This is essential functionality of all EMR's for proper labelling.  It is also essential in order to obtain correct data and numbers for mandatory reporting.  If a legacy EMR vendor has the capability and had this  functioning for the last 10 + years then QHR should be able to make this happen.

I should not have to rename every DI document that come in. This is not physician work. It is almost impossible to find the correct documents when they are not labeled. If other systems can do this, Accuro should as well

The lack of this feature makes the Virtual chart useless.  I am always having to look up results on netcare to find what I want efficiently.

I spend too much time looking for old reports and documents. I would prefer to see the descriptive field pulled into the Note column (even if it could be modified later) as it would be more searchable. Even if the Note column is modified, the report would be unaltered

Accuro had previously supported this: HRM reports such as diagnostic imaging are sent with a clearly-coded descriptive field, and that descriptive field used to be pulled into the Note column in the Virtual Chart, allowing easy identification of different types and locations of imaging.  The issue, as our group was told back in May, was that information in the Note column can be edited within Accuro.  That's necessary functionality - it's what allows scanned or received documents to be given useful descriptions, and for those descriptions to be changed if needed - but the concern was that importing HRM information into a field that could be edited by end users could jeopardize the reliability of that information.  We were advised that QHR is discussing the issue on a policy level with Ontario MD to figure out the best solution for this, and that in the meantime, that descriptive field is simply not being displayed.

(It would be nice to have an update from QHR on this, though, since our talk with them did occur several months ago!).

This is do-able.  It is a basic but very essential feature of what a good EMR should do.

this is a must,  for proper access to downloaded data
