Add "save as lab" functionality to text fields on a form

If a query does not return a result, it would be useful to be able to type in a value that will be saved in labs, rather than having to "Ctrl-Alt-L Phy" to enter the information and rerun the form again. That way the datum would be available in the system for future queries.

    That works, although it would be nice if it defaulted to the latest reading.

    We suggest to use the Lab Combo Box component as this component on forms will pull all recent results for the specified lab result, and allow you to add new values right from the form if one does not populate as expected.

    This component is found under the Components category when creating forms in the Form Editor
