The schedule notes is such a small section!!
if it were bigger than it would likely be a more viable and functional option...
Our clinic has resorted to creating an empty appointment for typing in notes for the day..

Thanks for your idea. Have you tried using the Schedule Notes at the top of each Provider's schedule?
If you don't see the Schedule Notes field, ensure that the setting under the Accuro Menu > Scheduler > Scheduler Management > Settings > View Schedule Notes is enabled.
I've included a screen shot highlighting the Schedule Notes field on the Scheduler.
