ALT + Click functionality in Documents Section

An Accuro Provider has started using dual monitors during day to day office activities and has come up with a idea to improve efficiency. "Typically I will open up labs by Alt-Clicking on the Labs icon on the left of the main Accuro window. I am then able to click and drag the newly opened lab window onto the screen of the second monitor. This enables me to view/review labs on one screen while leaving the EMR open for viewing on the other monitor. This seems to work seamlessly in that once a lab is reviewed, it opens the next patients lab results without difficulty and additionally will automatically switch to that patient's medical chart in the EMR window on the second screen. Unfortunately the same can not be said for the documents. When reading/reviewing documents on one monitor, it is not linked in any way to the EMR on the second monitor. So, when reviewing a document (e.g. pt xray), if I wanted to review that patient's chart for prior xray findings, I would have to switch over to the EMR window on the second monitor, and do a search for that patient. Additionally, when reviewing a given document, it will switch to the next document on the list, but it does not switch patients on the EMR window, requiring another patient search. Why are these windows not linked as they are when reviewing labs? It would be much more efficient to have them linked, thereby eliminating the unnecessary step of initiating a patient search. "
