Ability to make changes to a document received by scan/fax

A few people feel that it would greatly help them become further paperless if they could "write" on a document that was scanned or faxed in. For example if someone receives a fax and just needs to sign it and send it back, it would be great if they could add a signature component(such as in form editor) and then fax it back without having to print it off to sign.

    Admin response

A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2016.02 iteration of Accuro. Should QHR Technologies be required to reschedule the feature, an additional comment will be added to advise of the new schedule.

Upon release, the Idea will be moved to the Completed tab and QHR Technologies will provide further detail on the implemented solution.

In the 2016.02 iteration of Accuro, users will be able to highlight Documents they have received, as well as add Text and Signatures. This can be done on a Document from the Documents Folder in the Home Section, from the Virtual Chart and from the Documents upload section.

For more information on this feature as well as to find out Release Dates for the 2016.02 release, please see the Accuro EMR New Releases Page:
